The Technoline Moble Alerts MA10120 is a wireless cable probe temperature sensor with dual temperature readings, the main body of the sensor can be used for measuring the ambient air temperature and the cable probe temperature sensor which can be placed in liquid.

The Mobile-Alerts MA10120 is one of the optional wireless sensors available for use with the Mobile Alerts remote monitoring Gateway system (MA-10000) ** which is sold separately and required for this sensor to operate **

There are many uses for this type of sensor and it is often used with aquariums with the main body of the sensor outside the tank with the cable probe immersed in the water. The cable probe, although waterproof, does not need to be placed in water and can also measure air temperature such as in a vivarium or in a warm food cabinet for example, again with the main body measuring ambient room temperatrue with the cable used to measure a different location. An adavantage of this Pro Series sensor when compared to regular sensors is the ability to export a text file of data readings (180 days) from with the Mobile Alerts app.
